Forfar boss Dick Campbell is delighted to have his twin brother Ian back on board as his assistant at Station Park.
The 60-year-olds had been together for six years with the Loons before Ian took the decision to stand down in June due to expanding business commitments.
However, he is now back by his brother’s side, helping Forfar’s promotion push.
The manager said: “It was a big blow for me when Ian stood down but it was something he had to do because of work.
“It was always intended as just a sabbatical and it is great to have him back at Forfar once again as he is a really good coach.
“He is a great help to me along with our other coaches.”
Campbell handed ex-Arbroath defender Michael Travis a start against Ayr on Saturday and the defender helped the Loons to a 2-0 victory.
It was his second game as a trialist for the Angus club and the manager admitted he is still weighing up whether to offer him a permanent deal.
Campbell said: “I like what I see in Michael.
“He has one more game to go as a trialist so we will see how he does.
“I have still to make my mind up but if we did decide to sign him, we couldn’t do it until January 1.”
The veteran boss said he has also been impressed by the contribution of on-loan Dundee United player Scott Smith.
The 19-year-old midfielder scored his first goal for Forfar against Ayr at the weekend and Campbell believes he is now settling in at the club after arriving at Station Park at the start of this month.
The manager added: “Scott didn’t do too well in his first couple of games but he was great against Ayr.”
