Clyde v Montrose: Links Parkers out to build on Elgin victory
ByNews reporter
Montrose can deliver a blow to bottom dogs Clyde if they manage to maintain winning form at Broadwood tonight.
Having given interim manager Ray Farningham his first three points since taking charge, the Links Park side are being urged to build on what the boss felt was a committed weekend performance.
Another victory would be a morale booster for the Angus outfit, who have played three more games than tonight’s opposition and so can still be overtaken.
“We had chances to finish the game (against Elgin) and must learn from that but it was a win we deserved,” he said.
New signing Sean Pierce may be hoping for a bigger chance to impress his new boss after a couple of efforts in just nine minutes of action following his move from Port Glasgow juniors.
