Montrose stormed back from 2-0 down for a draw at home to East Fife.
It keeps Montrose a couple of places above the bottom.
A last-minute strike from substitute Terry Masson made it 2-2, but boss Paul Hegarty was left wondering why his men waited until they were two down before they started to play.
Montrose started well, but East Fife scored in their first attack on 10 minutes. Kyle Wilkie cut in from the left and scored with a low drive.
East Fife stretched their lead on 58 minutes when Jason Kerr headed in a free-kick from player-boss Gary Naysmith.
Montrose began their fightback on 70 minutes when Gary Fraser robbed two defenders near the byline and ran in to score.
Montrose then threw everything at the visitors and got their reward on 89 minutes. Masson burst forward and scored via the underside of the bar from 30 yards.
East Fife almost won it in stoppage-time when Andrew Steeves knocked the ball towards his own net and on-loan Falkirk keeper Alex Tokarczyk made a miraculous stop.
Hegarty said: “In the first 10 minutes we put them under pressure, then we stopped playing.
“We were lethargic and playing in second gear and it was not until late on when we changed one or two things that we got something from the game.
“We got people running off Chris Templeman and caused them a few headaches,” Hegarty added.
“We showed a bit of character, but why did we wait until we were 2-0 down?”
