Ryan Conroy lifted despite Dundee FC’s defeat to Aberdeen

Dundee’s Ryan Conroy insists that out of defeat can come confidence and inspiration.
The Dark Blues exited the Scottish Communities League Cup at Aberdeen on Tuesday night.
However, they grew in self-belief as the game went on and put a poor start behind them to rattle the Dons, giving grounds for optimism ahead of Saturday’s home league game against Morton.
Conroy said: “We were very happy with the way we played against Aberdeen.
“The big thing for us going to Pittodrie was putting in a performance after the defeat to Livingston at the weekend. So I think we can hold our heads high again and now we can take it into the Morton game.
“If we can play like we did against Aberdeen there are not many teams who will live with us. The performance was a lot, lot better than we have produced so far.
“The boys have a great spirit, we are working hard in training every day and there is more to come from this group of players.”
