Dunfermline Athletic have been plunged into chaos by a dramatic mass resignation of club directors.
Courier Sport has learned several members of the board have quit East End Park after losing their battle to have a greater say in the running of the Fife club.
It is understood that vice-chairman Rodney Shearer, Kip McBay, Steve Curtis, Iain Jones and Craig McWhirter are all departing.
Furthermore, chief executive Bill Hodgins is also expected to leave today.
Chairman John Yorkston, Gavin Masterton, Tracey Martin and Karen Masterton remain on the board.
Thursday night’s developments will put a huge question mark on the financial future of Dunfermline.
Earlier this year there were delays in paying wages to players and staff and the outgoing board members have delved into their own pockets in the past to help the running of the club.See Saturday’s Courier for the latest on this story
