All-weather carpet recycled from the pitches at Dundee International Sports Complex will be laid to provide a new putting surface at the crazy golf course at Castle Green.
The Broughty attraction is also going to get a much-needed lick of paint, which a local councillor says might be the first improvement carried out at the site since the 1970s.
Councillor Derek Scott said: ”For the last two or three years I have been asking for the crazy golf course to be given some attention as it is looking a bit tired and dated in comparison to the nearby play area.
”I used to visit it during the school holidays when I was a child in the 1970s and I think the proposed works will be the first improvements made to it since back then!
”I’m pleased that at last something is being done and I look forward to seeing it being enjoyed by families during the summer.”
