Laurencekirk firm Peterkin Homes has won a Master Builder of the Year award for the fourth time in the last decade.
By scooping the award for the best new homes in Scotland the firm goes forward to the British national competition alongside Banchory’s Alan Buchan Contractors, which won the energy efficiency prize for the Scottish region, and renovation projects winner for Scotland, Crannog Construction, of Stirling.
Peterkin Homes took their title courtesy of building work on customer Tony Allen’s dream home in Fordoun, which combined the style of art deco with the best in modern construction.
