Banker Ian Collins has been appointed the new president of Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce.
The senior manager at Bank of Scotland was ratified at the business organisation’s annual general meeting at the Reid Hall in Forfar.
He takes over the post from Colin Loveday, who held the position for the past two years.
Mr Collins said: “The mood in the business community in Dundee and Angus is infectiously optimistic at the moment and I am proud that the Chamber is playing its part in driving economic growth.
“As representatives of member organisations, helping shape the chamber’s vision for a vibrant and growing business community in our region, is just one example of the way that we contribute as business leaders.”
The Chamber’s new vice presidents are Theresa Slevin of Angus-based Journeycall and James Buchan, who leads digital business Zudu in Dundee.
They take over in the vice president roles from Mr Collins and Deborah Miller.
