Confirmed cases of coronavirus in Tayside have risen by almost 20% since yesterday, according to new Scottish Government figures.
There are now 57 people confirmed to have the virus in Tayside, up from 48 yesterday – an increase of 18.75%.

In total, there are 135 new cases of Cornavirus in Scotland, with 719 people having tested positive, up from 584 yesterday
Holyrood health chiefs said today that 10,676 tests had been carried out north of the border in total.
Sadly, 22 patients have now died from Covid-19, a rise of six overnight.
In Fife, four more people have tested positive, with 29 cases now confirmed in The Kingdom.

Greater Glasgow and Clyde is the worst-affected health board, with 221 confirmed cases.
However, Ms Sturgeon and Health Secretary Jeane Freeman have both reminded the public that the actual numbers are much higher, but due to the self-isolation measures for those infected, many who have the virus will not have been tested.
