An Angus man has handed in a logbook detailing the first 1000 miles of a 5000-mile charity walk.
Bobby Campbell from Edzell has been walking eight miles every day for the last four months to raise money for children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent.
Despite having undergone two hip replacement operations he is determined to raise £5000.
A specialist nurse from Ninewells Hospital in Dundee was on hand on Tuesday to accept the records of the first section of his fund-raising efforts.
Over the past 40 years Mr Campbell has walked thousands of miles for various causes and was awarded an MBE for his charity work.
