A mother and daughter have raised £1600 for the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS) and said they plan to do it all again next year.
Catherine Burt, from Rosyth, and her mother Janet Brady, from Dunfermline, held a series of fund-raising events from tombola to a cake and sweets stall at a local Highland Games.
Catherine said, “We went up to Kinross two weeks ago and handed the money over.”
“We wanted to raise money for them because they don’t get anything from the government.”
It is the second year in a row they have raised money for CHAS and Catherine added, “We’re hoping to do it again next year.”
