Dundee’s waterfront project is drumming up interest from major banks.
Over the last year the city has been trying to draw support from developers and banks with roadshows in cities across the UK, including London, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Now the project team is looking to bring potential developers to the city in a bid to seal investment in the £1 billion waterfront.
Banks, including Barclays, Santander and Bank of Scotland, are all due to tour the site.
Allan Watt, the waterfront team’s project co-ordinator, said: “Essentially, what we are trying to do is contact developers, investors and bankers.
“What we have said to these guys when we have been presenting the waterfront project is that we would be happy to host a visit to walk them around the area and make them even more aware of the opportunities.”
