Cupar-based independent bakery Fisher & Donaldson is celebrating the award of a Royal Warrant of Appointment to the Queen.
The firm was given the news by the Lord Chamberlain’s Office at Buckingham Palace and will now be able to display the royal arms.
The warrant has been granted in the name of Fisher & Donaldson’s managing director Eric Milne, following a lengthy period of supplying products to the royal family.
The bakery is based on the outskirts of Cupar and runs seven shops, two in St Andrews and Cupar and three in Dundee.
Founded in 1919, it employs around 105 staff and is run by Eric, brother Sandy and Eric’s son Ben.
