An Angus family is backing a new programme supporting autism sufferers.
Forfar mum Karen Hood, whose six-year-old daughter Corrina has autism, is backing the National Autistic Society’s Daldorch Family Support Programme.
Karen, whose younger daughter Eilidh, three, is also being assessed for autism, said: “I can honestly say the Family Support Programme pulled me out of that deep, dark hole.
“It showed me autism can be a positive thing.
“As parents we share our difficult experiences at the Family Support Programme … But we also celebrate our lovely, unique children and recognise that you can have autism, and a bright future.”
