A reunion call has been issued to all former Brownies and Brownie leaders across Angus for the organisation’s 100th birthday.
County members have been celebrating in style so far, with discos, fun days and other events, but are now looking for former members to get in touch for a special event at the end of summer.
Angus Brownies are setting up a birthday fun day at the Caledonian Railway steam train and will host a massive camp, with more than 250 members expected to take part.
Fiona Dalziel, County Commissioner for Angus, said: “Get in touch by emailing us at browniesinangus@gmail.com or by writing to us at Brownies in Angus, Girlguiding Angus, Forfar Guide Centre, The Myre, Forfar DD8 1AZ.
“Send us your name, address, email address if you have one and where you were involved in Brownies in Angus and whether you were a Brownie, a Brown Owl, or both.
“Give us as much or as little information as you wish about the fun and adventures you had and, to give us time to send you an invitation, please contact us by June 30 2014.”
