Black tie ball success takes TCCL closer to fundraising goal

Children’s charity Tayside Children with Cancer and Leukaemia (TCCL) needs one final push as it bids to raise £500,000 to create a luxury holiday home for children and their families.
More than £430,000 is now in place following a hugely successful 1920s charity ball at the Apex Hotel in Dundee.
It boosted funds by more than £18,000 as 266 guests gathered for the black tie event, hosted by STV news anchor Andrea Brymer and the charity’s ambassador, Dundee United footballer and cancer survivor Jordan Moore.
The TCCL Lodge is being created in St Andrews and the charity hopes to see the house ready to welcome families in late summer.
