Robert Donnachie, 34, of Wellbank Place, admitted having the images on February 11 at his home. Depute fiscal Joanne Smith told Forfar Sheriff Court that Donnachie was found with 1,695 still images and three videos. None of the images showed sexual activity and all were classed as category C on the Sexual Offences Definitive Guideline. Sheriff Gregor Murray deferred sentence until November 18 for a criminal justice social work report. Donnachie was placed on the sex offenders register in the meantime.
