Thousands of women took part in the Race for Life in Dundee on Sunday. Almost 3,000 women turned out to defy cancer by joining in the 5k and 10k events around Camperdown Park to raise money for Cancer Research UKs pioneering work. Among the sea of women dressed in pink were many who have survived cancer themselves, or who participated in memory or celebration of loved ones. Daybreak star Lorraine Kelly was the guest of honour and she ran the 5k course.
