Police are appealing for help to trace a man spotted near the scene of a car fire in Dundee. The vehicle was sitting in a driveway in the Ballumbie area when the blaze broke out in the early hours of Monday morning. Officers are keen to trace a man who was walking on Berwick Drive, midway between Ballumbie Braes and Ballumbie Road at around 3.50am on Monday. He is described as white, around 6ft tall, slim with a fair complexion. He was wearing a dark coloured peaked hat or cap, dark trousers or jeans and a black and blue long sleeved shirt with large checks. Anyone who can help trace the man or help with the investigation is being urged to call Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
