The City Square in Dundee was turned into a giant venue on Sunday thanks to Scottish Dance Theatre.
Throughout the day there were displays of various styles, such as contemporary, hip hop, Bollywood and flamenco, along with music and poetry. There were also chances for the public to join in, ending with a ceilidh.
Producer Aiyana D’Arcangelo said: “This is a big festival day we are putting on called Park, which is the culminating, big finale event of a year-long project called SCALE, which was a commission for the Commonwealth Games.
“SCALE has been celebrating movement, from little ones and how they first start moving their fingers and toes all the way up to what it means to be a professional dancer.
“We have a big stage and we have seen everybody on there dancing together and it’s been lovely.
“I think it’s something that everybody can do, you are born with the desire to move and we are just celebrating that, playing music and letting people enjoy the company.”
