Aberdeen fan’s car vandalised ahead of Dundee United clash
ByAndrew Liddle
Football hooligans have apparently spray painted “sheep” on the side of an Aberdeen FC fan’s car ahead of Sunday’s SPL clash with Dundee United.
A post appearing to show the Red Army fan’s car being vandalised has gone viral on Facebook.
According to the post, the thugs targeted the car, which appears to be near Tannadice, because the Aberdeen FC fan had left a team scarf in the front window.
Police said they had not received any reports of the vandalism. They confirmed that they made one arrest at the match.
The apparent vandalism follows wide-spread disorder before a game between Dundee United and Aberdeen FC on December 14.
