A 47-year-old man appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court today charged with attempted murder. Andrew Reilly is accused of trying to kill a woman by driving a Ford Focus car at her and attempting to strike her in Cullen Place on Saturday. Reilly, of Wentworth Avenue, made no plea or declaration at a short hearing in private before Sheriff Elizabeth Munro. He was remanded in custody and the case was continued until next week.
