A 24-year-old man has appeared in private at Dundee Sheriff Court accused of detonating three explosive devices across the city.
Allan Peach, of no fixed abode, is facing charges of exploding the devices at three separate addresses. He is also accused of possession of pepper spray and drugs offences.
Peach, who appeared in private at Dundee before Sheriff Richard Davidson on Monday, faced charges under the Explosive Substances Act 1883.
The charges relate to alleged incidents at Huntly Place on May 13, Findhorn Place on June 7 and Cullen Place on June 7.
Peach was also in the dock to face two charges under the Firearms Act 1968.
He is accused of on June 9 at Claverhouse Road, Dundee, having in his possession pepper spray without holding a firearms certificate. He is also accused of on June 9 within a Vauxhall Astra Van in Claverhouse Road having pepper spray in his possession without the authority of the Secretary of State.
He is further accused of on June 9 at Police HQ, Dundee, having in his possession the Class B drug Methlhtemycathinone.
Peach made no plea or declaration. The case was continued and he was remanded in custody for seven days.
Peach was arrested after officers investigating an alleged explosion in Cullen Place stopped a van in Claverhouse Road at around 8.40pm on Saturday.
