Fresh appeal to trace missing Fife pensioner Andrew Millar
ByThe Courier Reporter
Police are renewing their appeal to trace a missing Fife pensioner.
Andrew Millar left his home in High Valleyfield on July 16 and was seen travelling on a bus from Dunfermline to Glasgow. He was last spotted on the morning of July 29 in Morecambe, Lancashire.
The 66-year-old suffers from a number of medical conditions, including Angina and Diabetes, and his family are concerned that he may not have access to the medication he needs to take regularly.
Chief Inspector Chris Stones, of Police Scotland’s Fife Division, said: “It is not clear why Mr Millar left his home and travelled to Morecambe.
“There have been no confirmed sightings of him since then and it is possible he may have travelled elsewhere in the UK.
“Andrew Millar may be unaware that his family have reported him missing and we would are asking Andrew to come forward and get in touch with the Police, to confirm he is safe and well”.
“I am appealing for members of the public with any information or knows where he may be, to call the Police on 101 or tell us anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
