Police believe Styx nightclubbers might hold clue to finding missing man Allan Bryant

Allan Bryant was reported missing after last being seen in the early hours of November 3.
Allan Bryant was reported missing after last being seen in the early hours of November 3.

Late-night revellers are being urged to contact police as the search for missing Fife man Allan Bryant approaches its third week.

Allan has not been seen since he left Styx nightclub in Glenrothes in the early hours of Sunday November 3.

Chief Inspector Derek McEwan, local area commander for Glenrothes, said: “We at Police Scotland are keen to trace anyone whom was in the vicinity to Styx nightclub on the evening of Saturday November 2 into Sunday November 3.

“This includes customers of the nightclub itself along with people whom may have attended at the nearby fish and chip shop situated on Caskieberran Road.

“If you were in that area and even if you believe you didn’t see Allan or anything of significance please contact Police Scotland on 101 and let us decide.

“We also need to trace all taxi drivers whom were on duty within the Glenrothes area at this time, as they may hold vital information.”

Images of the 23-year-old have been released in a bid to jog the memories of those who may have seen him since the last reported sighting at around 2am outside the nightspot.

Allan is described as 5ft 6in, of medium build, with short brown hair and tattoos on both arms.

When last seen he was wearing a navy and white and grey striped t-shirt, dark denim jeans, and grey leather plimsolls.

Mr McEwan added: “We do have significant concerns surrounding Allan’s disappearance. At the moment though we are still focused on locating Allan safe and well.

“Naturally, with the passage of time we share the concern of Allan’s family over his wellbeing.”

Anyone with information can call police on 101 or speak to any officer.
