Perthshire road blocked by two accidents that happened within 50 yards of each other

Emergency services are currently dealing with two accidents on the A923 near Coupar Angus.

Officers from Police Scotland were called to the scene at Tullybaccart at around 11.40am following reports of a car leaving the road.

It is understood that the white Renault Kangoo van landed in a ditch.

Upon arrival, officers also had to deal with a second incident just 50 yards away, when a 4×4 vehicle overturned.

It is still partially blocking the road between the A94 junction in Coupar Angus and the B954 Newtyle Road junction in Birkhill.

A recovery team is en-route.

The occupants of both vehicles escaped with minor injuries.
