A PERTH man has been awarded £5,565 by an employment tribunal in Dundee.
Kenneth McKenzie, of North Muirton, wasawarded £3,360 for unlawful deductions from his wages by Scottish Electrical Services, Auchmore Lodge, Killin, who did not attend the hearing.
The tribunal also ruled that the company owed him £155 in lieu of annual leave and £760 as damages for breach of contract (failure to give notice of termination of employment).
Mr McKenzie had been allowed to amend his application and add a complaint that the company failed to make a redundancy payment. The firm has now been ordered to rectify that with a £1,290 payment.
