Police searching for a Perth pensioner who has been missing for almost a week have made a fresh appeal for information.
Robert McLaren disappeared from Appin Terrace in the Letham area of the city on Thursday.
Officers have also issued a new photograph of the 70-year-old as they continue their search
Robert was last seen at the Rannoch Road shops in Perth at 8.08am on Saturday.
He was wearing a black ‘Donkey’ jacket, a beige baseball cap with a white motif on the front, blue jeans or trousers and brown shoes at the time.
Robert is described as being 5 ft 7 tall, of large build, has a pale complexion, and a balding head with short grey hair around the sides.
He has connections to the Coupar Angus area and is known to walk in the Jeanfield Road area and the North Inch.
Officers are carrying out house-to-house enquiries and are asking residents if they have any information that could assist them.
Police are also reviewing CCTV in the area and are urging any homes or businesses with cameras to come forward.
Local residents are being asked to check sheds, garages and outbuildings for any signs that someone might have taken refuge, either overnight or temporarily.
There are significant concerns for Robert’s welfare and anyone who knows him or has seen a man matching his description is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.
