A Perthshire gran, jailed for almost five years for her part in a £130,000 heroin seizure, has found herself back in court.
Ann Mannion, 53,Smillie Place, Bridge of Earn, was released from prison in 2012 just over half way through a 54 month sentence.
On Wednesday the mother of five and grandmother of 10 admitted possessing a “significant” amount of heroin in Primark, Perth, on Tuesday.
Solicitor David Holmes said his client was on anti-depressant tablets and methadone but “unfortunately there had been breaks in her prescription of the latter and she had been keeping herself going with heroin”.
Sheriff Fiona Tait remanded Mannion in custody to await sentencing on November 6.
