With just days until the festival opens, music fans are being urged to have a fun and safe weekend in Kinross-shire.
Organisers have put together some tips to ensure nothing spoils the atmosphere at the event.
Festival-goers are urged to plan their journey to the Balado site and ensure that not only have they brought essential medication but they are also prepared for anything the Scottish weather can throw at them.
They are also asked to pace themselves and take time out to eat and rehydrate, protect tickets and wristbands and ensure nothing of value is left in tents.
Finally, fans are urged to look after the festival site and each other and show respect to local residents.
Once again, T in the Park will be adopting a zero-tolerance approach to drugs and underage drinking, while so-called legal or herbal highs are also prohibited.
Police event commander Super-intendent Rick Dunkerley said: “Police officers will be operating within all areas of the venue and our priority is to ensure the safety and well-being of our communities.”
The Scottish Ambulance Service’s Neil Gillies added: “Look after each other at the event, don’t get isolated, drink plenty of water and dress appropriately for the weather”.
