24 Tayside Police drugs officers under investigation

Twenty-four serving Tayside Police officers are to be questioned as part of a long-running criminal investigation into the force’s drugs squad.
An investigation into the behaviour of the unit began at the start of the year and is now one of the biggest investigations into alleged police criminality in recent Scottish history.
All of the officers have been told to make themselves available for interview by Grampian Police, who are now handling the inquiry to ensure its independence.
The police officers have been told to bring legal representation should they believe it is necessary.
The interviews are the latest stage of Operation Teal, which was launched at the start of the year.
