Body found in search for missing Stirling student David O’Halloran

David O'Halloran was last seen in the early hours of January 18.
Police searching for a student missing since January have found a body in woodland.
David O’Halloran, 18, disappeared after a night out with friends in Stirling three months ago.
The maths student was last spotted crossing Henderson Street in nearby Bridge of Allan in the early hours of January 18.
A body was found in woods by the town at about 3.15pm on Thursday.
A police spokesman said: “The Forth Valley Division of Police Scotland can confirm that the body of a male was discovered today in woodland above Bridge of Allan.
“A post-mortem examination will now take place. We are in the early stages of this inquiry and no further comment will be made until the body is identified.”
