East Fife boss not worried about brief stay at top of league

East Fife saw top spot in League Two taken off them just three days after they had reached the summit.
However manager Gary Naysmith is refusing to be downbeat ahead of the visit of Annan today.
An injury time penalty helped Elgin defeat Stirling Albion in midweek and return to pole position, with Naysmith saying: “That penalty cost us top spot but we just need to go out and win this game and see what happens after that.
“We had a great win down at Annan in a game earlier this year that was played in the snow and it would be great to repeat that.
“They will be looking at this game and thinking that if they win they pull to within four points of us.”
Naysmith feels that his men did not get the praise they were due for ending Elgin’s season long unbeaten home record.
He added: “It was a good win that the boys deserved more credit for and that is maybe another bit of motivation for them in this game.”
Naysmith has a full squad to choose from with no suspension or injury worries.
