Glasgow Warriors Head Coach Gregor Townsend.
Gregor Townsend reckons Glasgow’s latest acquisition can help them break their Pro12 title duck by keeping their bad breaks to a minimum.
The coach issued his verdict after taking possession of a high-tech gadget designed to speed up rehab for players with serious injuries.
Warriors sponsor Greenbelt donated the bone-healing Osteotron lV gizmo as Townsend stepped up preparations for Saturday’s showdown with Heineken Cup semi finalists Munster.
Townsend said: “Rugby is an incredibly tough sport and inevitably players will take knocks.
“Having the machine means we can help players who experience delayed healing or sustain a stress fracture or fresh fracture.
“We are very grateful to Greenbelt for giving it to us it certainly complements our fantastic medical set-up at Scotstoun.”
