A helicopter with a difference made a “cash landing” at Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance Perth Airport headquarters.
The large ceramic replica of the emergency response helicopter was crafted and gifted to the crew by supporter Lindsay Cant.
It will be used to collect £1 coin donations at the base. Kinross woman Lindsay, who has learning difficulties, has previously made ceramic versions of family pets and other animals for friends and relatives.
Members of the SCAA crew were on hand to receive the unique gift, declaring it “fantastic”.
“It’s a great piece of ceramic craft and we can’t thank Lindsay enough,” lead pilot Captain Russell Myles said.
“It looks good enough to fly. Lindsay has done a remarkable job depicting the specific shape and colours of SCAA and we’re so grateful that she has gifted such a unique piece to us.
“It’s something we will really treasure and hopefully her efforts will encourage visitors to our base to pop a pound coin or two into its belly.”
