Courier Sport understands that Dundee’s Ryan Conroy, Nicky Riley and Kyle Benedictus are free to find other clubs despite having contracts in place at Dens for next season.
All three were part of the Dark Blues’ promotion-winning squad but it is believed that they have been told they can move elsewhere either permanently or on loan as they do not feature in boss Paul Hartley’s plans for the Premiership.
The trio, along with fringe men Steven Doris and youngster Jamie Reid who are also contracted, have been deemed surplus to requirements as the manager reshapes his squad.
Hartley has already added Kevin Thomson, James McPake, Scott Bain, Greg Stewart and Philip Roberts so far this summer, while a whole host of players have departed, including Gavin Rae, Craig Beattie, Christian Nade, Stephen O’Donnell and Leighton McIntosh.
