The 64-year-old, who lifted the league cup twice during his 10 years at Tannadice, was diagnosed with the disease in 2009. His wife, Amanda, wants sufferers who are under 65 to be offered the same benefits as older dementia patients. Here we take an affectionate look back at his United days.
