Case against Dundee man accused of child abuse social media threat deserted

The case against a man accused of threatening to petrol bomb his ex-partner’s house and link child abuse images to his social media has been deserted.

Dillon Reid, 21, of Craigowan Road, was due to stand trial in connection with the threats against Shaun Conroy.

It was alleged that he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner at Argyle Street on October 17.

But after a motion by the Crown, Reid’s case was deserted.
