Bradley Simpson, 20, of Arthurstone Terrace, was placed on a restriction of liberty order for four months, between 7pm-7am.
Simpson previously admitted that on March 14, at Nethergate, he assaulted Stefan Schnell, by punching him on the head and body.
He further admitted that on April 9, at Overgate Shopping Centre, he attempted to pervert the course of justice by giving false details to police, all while on bail.
