Man who engaged in sex act with partner outside Dundee office block must complete unpaid work hours

A man who engaged in a sex act with a woman outside a Dundee office block has admitted breaching his community work order.

Andrew Anderson, 19, of the Lily Walker Centre, had his sentence deferred to November 23 at Dundee Sheriff Court for him to perform the outstanding hours of unpaid work.

Anderson admitted breaching his community payback order by not performing sufficient hours.

The payback order had been imposed after Anderson admitted that on June 19 2015, along with Chloe McMullen, he committed an offence of public indecency by engaging in sexual activity at Riverside Drive, a public place, while on bail.

The pair were caught by office workers at the city’s Compass House.

In February last year, Sheriff Alastair Brown told the pair: “It is hard to think of anywhere less private than Riverside Drive at 3pm in front of a block of offices, on a bench on a public path which is heavily used by people who take their children for walks.”

Anderson also admitted that on February 25 2016, at West Marketgait, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm, shouted and swore at Ms McMullen, his former partner, and acted in an aggressive manner.

Sentence was deferred for him to complete 30 hours of unpaid work.
