Chicago, Memphis, New Orleans... Arbroath? Adding the Angus town to that list of places linked with the blues might not seem so far-fetched after a weekend of music-making. The return of the annual Bell Rock Blues Festival saw 19 venues host free gigs from acts including Dana Dixon and the Big Kats, Sandy Tweeddales Blue Hyenas, the Juke Joint Rollers, Smokehouse and Georgia Crawl. Edinburgh-based Hot Tin Roof said they were very excited to be taking part.
