The weather relented to help Angus Show organisers enjoy a busy and successful Saturday for this year’s event.
Deluged on Thursday night, the Brechin showground saw the equestrian events cancelled on the opening day, but fears that the rains might make a return failed to materialise.
That left Saturday a bit muddy in the avenues between the busy stands of the show, but if anything made things even more enjoyable for some of the welly-wearing youngsters on family days out.
Alongside the livestock classes and farming trade stands, show organisers laid on the traditional array of extra displays including vintage vehicles, tractors and stationary engines.
Highland dancers packed their marquee for an afternoon of competition and visitors also enjoyed a busy programme of main ring entertainment.
