Dundee model Elaine Harris has starred at London Fashion Week
The premiere event, which ends on Tuesday, attracts hundreds of the world’s top designers, as well as thousands of guests.
Modelling for couture label Kolchagov Barba at the event caps an already remarkable year for 33-year-old who, after setting up a Facebook page, has now found herself in demand across the world.
She said: “Words cannot describe the time I have had. To model such stunning gowns by the amazing designers Kolchagov Barba and to walk in London Fashion week was a great privilege.
“The designers could not have been nicer and the atmosphere in ‘the rose garden’ catwalk was electric. All nerves vanished and the adrenalin kicked in I just wanted to savour every moment.”
London Fashion Week, which takes place in February and September every year, is one of the biggest fashion shows in the world.
It is thought to generate tens of millions of pounds worth of orders from buyers but Ms Harris said she was not daunted by the red-carpet treatment.
“The VIP aftershow party was fantastic and then to party on at London Firehouse Chiltern was the icing on the cake,” she said.
“The weekend has been a dream come true and I will cherish the memories of it forever,” she added.
Kolchagov Barba is a new fashion label founded by Russian Svetoslav Kolchagov and Italian Emilio Barba.
