The question put forward to Lost Dundee’s followers has already received plenty of suggestions, such as Scottish missionary Mary Slessor, daytime TV host Lorraine Kelly, hillwalker and poet Syd Scroggie and actor Brian Cox.

Sporting legends have also been tipped for the top spot, including David Narey, Jim McLean and Dick McTaggart.
