The trio had made their way on to the roof of St Vincent’s RC Primary in Pitkerro Road on Sunday evening. They were less certain about their chances of safely climbing back down, however, and became stuck some four metres above the ground. Scottish Fire and Rescue were called and a crew from Kingsway arrived swiftly at the scene to offer assistance to the stricken adventurers. A spokesman said: “They were not really that high up, but had become stuck. “They had climbed up OK but clearly then got a wee bit of a scare as they contemplated getting back down. “The crew used a short extension ladder to help them to the ground.”
