Kyle Falconer is thrilled to be supporting the veteran rockers.
Kyle Falconer of The View has been given the “incredible honour” of supporting rock icons The Rolling Stones.
Having watched The View give an amazing performance at Hard Rock Calling last Saturday, the promoters of this weekend’s Stones shows in London’s Hyde Park have insisted that Kyle plays a solo acoustic slot before they take the stage.
Kyle said: “It is an incredible honour for me to play alongside one of the greatest rock bands of all time. Not many people have been asked to do so – especially an acoustic show.
“This will be a fantastic warm-up for T In The Park and I’m buzzing to be playing so many great shows this year.”
As well as being a huge thrill for Kyle, it will be a very rare chance for the fans to watch the Dundonian troubadour deliver raw and intimate versions of some of the band’s greatest hits.
The View recently released their compilation album Seven Year Setlist, a collection of songs spanning the band’s career so far.
