‘Hellhounds’ attacker given chance to prove good behaviour
ByThe Courier Reporter
A 62-year-old Kirkcaldy woman, who thought her house was haunted by hellhounds, has been warned to be of good behaviour after assaulting her 74-year-old sister.
Isobel Arnott had told her sister Jean Littlejohn, a former medium, that her Alford Avenue home was haunted.
The sisters got into an argument over her beliefs and, on July 24 at an address in Alford Avenue, Arnott assaulted her sister by punching, pushing and kicking her on the body, all to her injury. She was found guilty after a trial.
Sheriff Alastair Thornton deferred sentence for good behaviour until December.
