A new play from the Sonic Boom Theatre Company the organisation which brought Still Game back to the stage is coming to Perth Concert Hall.
About a boy who is sure he is a superhero, despite not yet having any powers, it will be performed on Friday March 13.
Hero Worship, featuring Kenny Boyle, tells the story of Anachronism, who spends his days working in a supermarket and walking his puppy and his nights wearing a mask and spandex.
The play is set on a roof top overlooking the city and the audience joins the hero as he tells the story of his life through comedy and gripping performance poetry.
In advance of the production, Perth Concert Hall is calling on all superheroes to share their pictures and fantasy super powers on its Facebook page for a chance to win a pair of tickets to the show, as demonstrated by the venue’s own “Supergirl”, Hollie Wegner-Jaszkin, marketing manager for Horsecross Arts.
