Southern Fried Festival like it? You’ll Lyle Lovett!

Horsecross Arts staff have given a resounding “yee haw” to the Southern Fried Festival line-up at the launch of the summer programme for Perth Concert Hall and Perth Theatre.

Four times Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter Lyle Lovett headlines Perth’s fourth annual festival of American roots music, which takes place from July 22-24.

Other top names include Stax! house band members Steve Cropper, Donald ‘Duck’ Dunn and Eddie Floyd, Blind Boys of Alabama, Justin Townes Earle, Iris Dement, Raul Malo and Savoy Family Cajun Band.

Other highlights in a packed programme include Session A9 and Lau coming together in a one-off double bill in Perth Concert Hall next month, Morrissey in June, and Marillion front-man Fish performing old favourites in acoustic trio with The Fishheads Club in Perth Theatre in August.For full details, visit www.horsecross.co.uk
