A procession of members of the MacRosty family kicked off a day of celebration at the renovated Crieff park which bears its name on Saturday.
The eagerly-awaited party was held to mark the official opening of the £1.8 million upgrade of the park.
Crowds flocked to the Strathearn town to see the improvements which include a restoration of the historic lade watercourse, a new play area, new paths and parking and a new bridge across the Turret Burn which was the location of an open-air market on Saturday.
The day was organised by the Friends of MacRosty Park group, which invited relatives of James MacRosty who donated the open area to the town in 1902 from across the world to take part.
